It is time to go beyond the limits with Honor Malaysia as the latest Honor 8X will be launched nationwide on October 12.
The Honor 8X will be the latest mid-range smartphone under the leading mobile device e-brand.
The smarphone comes with a borderless HD FullView display while with advanced chip-on-film technology and special antenna design.
With just 4.25mm for its bottom border size, the Honor 8X provides more screen space for users to enjoy every details of graphics projected from its 6.5-inch screen.
Additionally, the 91% screen-to-body-ratio has been fully utilised to ensure users to get a larger view despite the size of the phone body remains the same.
In addition, the device covers 85% of NTSC colour gamut and supports a split screen mode with the Unique Eye Comfort Mode certified by TÜV Rheinland to reduce eye fatigue on its large screen.
Truly Honor has gone beyond the limits with the Honor 8X’s performance as it comes with the Kirin 710 chipset which is a 64-bit-octa-core mid-range performance mobile chipset by Huawei.
To complement the Kirin 710, Honor has paired it up with a 12nm Cortex-A73 generation based SoC and a Mali G51 GPU which offers a 130% increase in GPU performance and 75% increase to the CPU single-core performance.
The Honor 8X has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD.
Following in the footsteps of its gaming smartphone, the Honor Play, the Honor 8X also comes with the GPU Turbo.
The technology together with the EMUI 8.2 system which were previously made only available for Honor flagship devices will ensure better graphic-process technology and less power consumption for the Honor 8X.
And if you worried about battery life, do not fret as the device comes with a 3650mAh battery.
Meanwhile, for shutterbugs and photography enthusiasts, you’re not left out as the new Honor 8X is equipped with not only a dual lens, 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel, F/1.8 aperture rear camera but it comes with a modern AI Camera Technology.
The AI Camera Technology is able to recognise 22 different categories and 500 scenarios in real-time which then optimises the camera settings to enhance photo quality based on the photography’s subject.
Also, the device comes with the 3D portrait lighting technology that allow users to further beautify photos that has already has a bokeh effect from the technology.
Not forgetting the front camera, the Honor 8X sports a 16-megaepixel front camera which has an enhanced-ISO with 4 Cell fusion technology and multi-frame image processing.
With that said, many of us would be impressed with the given specs and expect to break the bank. However, fret not! The Honor 8X will be retailed at RM949 (including SST) from October 12.
Meanwhile, in conjunction to the launch of the Honor 8X, Honor Malaysia has collaborated with Suriana Welfare Society Malaysia (Suriana) to empower and inspire the next generation.
“As a young, innovative and trend-setting brand, Honor strives to offer a new digital experience for the next generation.
“We are aiming to co-create a new lifestyle with the next generation by listening, sharing ideas as well as celebrating each moment with them,” Honor Malaysia head George Zhao Zhiwei said after the launch of the Honor 8X in Petaling Jaya yesterday.
He added to speed up the culture of co-creation, Honor Malaysia has collaborated with Suriana where we can reach out and empower the next generation.
“Together with Suriana, we aim to empower and inspire the youth to live the moment, take risks, fall and get back up as well as to be brave.
“At the same time, the initiative is driven through art with the theme ‘The Braves’ of which the public is encouraged to join us in completing the masterpiece,” he said.
Zhao added that what bridged the collaboration between Suriana and Honor Malaysia is how both parties care about the next generation.
“So, both of Suriana and Honor Malaysia has this common goal to empower the next generation and for them to live life to the fullest,” he said.
